‘Tyler Dibling can prove why Everton spent £40m on transfers after new developments’

Tyler Dibling has yet to make a massive impact at Everton.

Dibling signed for Everton from Southampton for £40million, but has only managed one Premier League start so far under David Moyes.

Everton lost 2-0 against Chelsea on Saturday, but other developments at Stamford Bridge are set to hit the Toffees much harder.

Iliman Ndiaye is now jetting off to AFCON, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish picking up injuries that could rip through the squad.

Tyler Dibling ready for perfect Everton chance

Dan Plumley believes that it’s not make-or-break yet for Dibling, despite the money that was spent on him for very little return so far.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, the football finance expert admitted that it is a perfect chance for the England youth international to start proving himself with more minutes.

“It is an opportunity for others to step in, no doubt, and Everton have been in good form, so that is also a positive,” Plumley said.

“He is also still young, though, and part of the transfer fee would be reflective of the long-term potential the club sees in him.

“It’s not make or break for him at this point by any stretch, but a good chance to maybe break into the side while Ndiaye is away.

How has Tyler Dibling performed in Premier League?

Dibling shot to fame at Southampton, being one of the few shining lights as the Saints were relegated with ease last season.

Scoring two goals, the England playmaker caught the eye against the likes of Liverpool and was even compared to his now teammate, Grealish.

With only 103 minutes played so far this season in the Premier League, Moyes must now trust Dibling to make a huge impact from the start.

Arsenal are next up at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and given injuries and Ndiaye being unavailable, the door has opened to make the difference against one of the very best.
