Vitinho transfer to Everton on cards as World Cup priority revealed
Botafogo right-back Vitinho wants a move to Europe amid transfer interest from Everton.
Clubs in Brazil have the defender on their radar, but he doesn’t seem to have any intention of moving to another Brasileirao club.
Vitinho has been linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the Toffees looking to reinforce the full-back department in the winter transfer window.
David Moyes has Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toney on his radar, but while a new number nine may be a priority for the Blues in January, other positions may also be addressed.

Botafogo to consider attractive offer from Everton, but Vitinho waiting for World Cup
Vitinho would prefer holding off on a move away from Botafogo until after the 2026 World Cup, according to Bolavip.
The news outlet reports on 15 December that the 26-year-old is focused on maintaining his performance levels and securing a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
It’s been claimed that the defender is a target at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and while he wants to stay until next summer, the Brazilian outfit are open to selling him in January if an attractive offer arrives.
Vitinho played for the Selecao during the September and October international breaks, but it remains to be seen whether his dream of travelling to Canada, Mexico and the USA will come to fruition.
Moyes has acknowledged that Jake O’Brien isn’t a natural right-back, but the Republic of Ireland international is the best option at the Scottish manager’s disposal for now.
David Moyes first January signing clear
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall picked up an injury on his return to Stamford Bridge as the Toffees lost 2-0 to Chelsea on 13 December.
Everton face Arsenal next at home, and it remains to be seen whether Jack Grealish will play after being substituted in London as a precaution due to a potential fitness issue.

If the former Chelsea and Leicester City star’s knock is serious, a new midfielder could potentially be a priority for Moyes due to Idrissa Gueye’s absence.
Dewsbury-Hall thrived playing alongside James Garner in the double pivot, but if the midfielder is sidelined for a significant period, Tim Iroegbunam will be the only other natural option for the Scottish manager for the next few weeks.
