Jack Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall in agreement with bold Iliman Ndiaye claim after what they’ve seen at Everton
Everton’s creative duo believe that Iliman Ndiaye is the best in the Premier League for one aspect of his game.
David Moyes has some serious attacking talent at his disposal at Everton this season, and Ndiaye may well be at the very top of that list.
The AFCON-bound attacker has contributed to a third of the Toffees’ goals in the Premier League this season, with four goals and two assists to his name.
However, Ndiaye has far more to offer than just that, with one part of his game hailed as the best in the league by his Merseyside teammates.

Grealish ranks Ndiaye ahead of Bukayo Saka
Grealish has also had an excellent campaign with Everton, though, when compared to Ndiaye, they are two very different players, despite playing in similar positions.
The Englishman’s game is a lot more tailored to technique and precision, whereas Ndiaye is capable of the unexpected, often catching defenders off-guard.
His goal in Everton’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland earlier this season was a showcase of that trickery he has on offer, where the Black Cats’ defence had little choice but to stand and stare at the quick feet on display from the Senegal international.
That is the key-part of his game – pure skill – and both Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall believe that he is the most skilful player in the league.
Via Stan Sport Football, the question was asked as to whether that was the case, to which Dewsbury-Hall said: “In terms of pure skill, yeah.“
Grealish added: “Im not sitting here saying he’s the best, he could be.
“Saka, for example, is so good, one of the best wingers in the world, but he’s not skilful.”
How does Ndiaye compare to Saka?
Saka has one fewer goal contribution than Ndiaye in the Premier League this season, though his dribbling stats also back up Grealish’s argument.
Via FotMob, Saka has completed 24 dribbles in the league, with a 51.1 per cent success rate.
That equates to 2.03 dribbles per 90, which is a fair margin lower than that of the Everton star.
Ndiaye has completed 34 dribbles in the Premier League, with a slightly lower success rate at 29.3 per cent.
However, with AFCON due to get underway this weekend, Everton will have to find a way to cope without their star man.
