Everton excitement builds as new images inside Hill Dickinson Stadium emerge for Arsenal clash

Everton fans are anticipating a tough Hill Dickinson Stadium evening on Saturday.

David Moyes’ side take on Arsenal in another difficult Premier League clash, which may be telling on what’s possible for the Toffees this season.

Everton have already produced surprise results this season, but a win over Arsenal would be their biggest feat yet.

Moyes’ European ambitions with Everton have been made clear recently, as the Hill Dickinson Stadium will play a huge role in what’s to come for the Blues.

Ahead of the match against the Gunners on 20 December, early images have surfaced of a tifo that will be on display this weekend.

15,000 Everton fans to be involved in tifo vs Arsenal

The Hill Dickinson stadium has shown signs that it can be a fortress, but it still has a long way to go in replacing Goodison Park.

The Toffees started the season with a bang, and it was largely down to the momentum behind the stadium change.

However, results have dried up at Everton‘s new home recently, but the tifo being made for the Arsenal showdown may just create that extra something which could carry the players over the line.

The 1878s shared images from inside the stadium on Wednesday showing the tifo nearly ready, with all supporters located in the South Stand set to take part in the display.

It appears that the showcase will contain Everton’s crest and ripples of water which resemble the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey.

It’s safe to say that Everton fans are counting down the days until they step foot in the Hill Dickinson once again.

David Moyes to do biggest Everton experiment of season vs Arsenal

Arsenal may be one of the most difficult opponents that the Toffees face all season, but Moyes will still try to get a result.

Everton will be without the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye for the match, who are both away with Senegal for the African Cup of Nations tournament.

This means that Moyes will have to call on either Tyler Dibling or Dwight McNeil, perhaps even both.

Jack Grealish has a hamstring issue, which could keep him out of the game, and with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall unavailable, it makes McNeil and Dibling’s inclusion seem inevitable.

Regardless of what Everton fans think, it’s a huge opportunity for both to prove a point to Moyes, which may only benefit the performance of the Toffees.

It will start in the stands.
