Tyler Dibling’s Everton future to be decided vs Arsenal after latest developments

Tyler Dibling has not had a look-in since joining Everton in the summer.

Everton play host to Arsenal on Saturday night, with David Moyes looking to end his woeful record against sides currently featuring in the Champions League.

The Toffees have lost every encounter against one of the sides that qualified last season, with all but one of their defeats so far this season being against them.

However, while the Scotsman will be focused on that, Toffees winger Dibling will have something very different in mind.

Loan exit could be on the cards for Dibling

Everton were handed a big boost in the form of Jack Grealish ahead of the clash with Arsenal,m with Moyes revealing that he will be fit to start, despite a small injury concern over the week.

However, with Iliman Ndiaye at AFCON, the Toffees will be without one of their key players, and, for Dibling’s sake, without one of their wingers.

Given Ndiaye’s absence, Moyes will have very few options other than utilising Dibling to some extent against the Gunners.

Should that not be the case, it would paint a clear image as to where the future lies for the Englishman, and it would look to be away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Dibling has played just 82 minutes of Premier League football this season, and if his chance isnt going to come in the absence of Ndiaye, it remains to be seen whether it will at all this season.

Dibling claim is looking more and more accurate prior to Everton move

Dibling was wanted by several clubs in the Premier League, including Liverpool.

While Southampton were hopeless last season, the teenage winger was a star, and that made a move seem inevitable.

However, while the saga was ongoing, former Southampton midfielder Jo Tessem claimed that a season in the Championship would have been beneficial.

I think he would benefit from playing in the Championship, playing week in week out and competing for a place,” he said.

Given the lack of gametime at Everton, it’s starting to look difficult to disagree with that claim.
