Everton eye Jorgen Strand Larsen as possible West Ham hijack could be on
Everton are the latest club to be credited with interest in Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Everton’s forward issues are well-documented, with Beto and Thierno Barry both struggling to score goals for the Blues.
David Moyes‘ side could enter the transfer market in January to arrest this concern, and the 25-year-old would be an exciting solution if the Premier League bottom-dwellers decide to sell.
A report from the Daily Mail on 22 December claims that the Toffees have watched the Norwegian forward already this season.

Who else could be in Strand Larsen race with Everton?
West Ham could hamper their former manager’s plans if he pulls the trigger on a move for Strand Larsen when the window reopens.
The report states that the Hammers have already explored the conditions of a deal for the 24-cap international.
If the East London outfit has started to put in the groundwork, they may have the upper hand if a race for his signature develops, but the Blues could surely pull off a hijack.
Newcastle could also reignite their interest, the report mentions the fact that they had a £55million bid rejected in August, but that seems unlikely given the fact that they eventually bought Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa.
How does Strand Larsen compare to Beto and Barry?
Beto has two strikes for Everton this season, with one in the league and one in the EFL Cup, and Barry has just one goal to his name, after his move from Villarreal this summer.
The potential new incoming has notched three goals in 18 matches in all competitions, with just one coming in the top-flight.
However, that may just be a result of the standard of the team that he is playing in, as last season, he notched 14 goals and five assists in 38 matches across the campaign.
Former Wolves boss Vitor Pereira labelled the forward as “fantastic” after he scored a brace against Southampton in March.
He said: “Strand Larsen was fantastic, not only with his two goals but with the way he helped the team. Today he felt more confident. I think he was fantastic, and he deserves it.”
In comparison, Beto struck 12 times, with one assist in 35 matches in all competitions, while Barry bagged 19 goals and four assists in 41 games.
It must be stressed that the France Under-21 international was playing in the Swiss and Spanish games, which are not as difficult as the top-flight in England.
If Strand Larsen can get back to the form that he showed in his first campaign in the country, it could be a very clever investment for the Toffees.
