Everton to negotiate bargain Jack Grealish transfer after latest Manchester City news

Jack Grealish surprised a lot of people when he decided to join Everton on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old struggled for regular game time at the Etihad Stadium last season, but has reinvigorated his career at the Toffees.

David Moyes would love to have Grealish permanently, but the £50million buy option in the original deal may be too much for the Blues to trigger.

The Friedkin Group have done a decent job at the Hill Dickinson Stadium so far, but recruitment is one area where the American owners can undoubtedly improve.

Jack Grealish exit from Manchester City set in stone after Antoine Semenyo update

Man City are leading the race to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo in January, according to Sky Sports.

Pep Guardiola already has several options capable of playing on the wings, and the addition of the Ghana international would mean Grealish is surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.

Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, Rayan Cherki, Savinho and Omar Marmoush are all capable of playing out wide for the Sky Blues.

TFG should take advantage of the situation to negotiate a bargain permanent deal for the England international to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium beyond this season.

Moyes will definitely be desperate to find a solution to keep Grealish, and the Blues may have the perfect opportunity to begin talks at the Etihad Stadium to lower the £50m buy option.

Jack Grealish can be convinced of Hill Dickinson Stadium transfer after David Moyes comments

Moyes has expressed his delight with Grealish, and the Man City loanee also has great admiration for the Scottish manager.

Speaking after Everton beat Bournemouth on 2 December, the Englishman said: “It’s a brilliant team, and I love the manager to pieces. I have only known him a few months and I can’t speak highly enough of him as a person. How he makes me feel, how he makes me want to play for him — credit to him. We’re doing well.”

The forward is certainly enjoying his time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, scoring two goals and providing four assists in 16 Premier League appearances.

Grealish can surely be convinced that the Toffees are the right club for him to continue his illustrious career, with TFG and Moyes holding massive ambitions in L4.
