David Moyes has new January transfer priority at Everton after what happened vs Burnley
Everton were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation candidates Burnley in a dismal afternoon on Saturday.
Everton were without the likes of Jack Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the Turf Moor clash on 27 December.
Those absences showed, and David Moyes could not rely on the rest of his squad to get the job done against Scott Parker’s side.
It emphasises the need for the Friedkin Group to back the Scotsman when the transfer market reopens in January.

Vitalii Mykolenko issue is even clearer for Everton after Burnley draw
A replacement for Vitalii Mykolenko must be Everton’s priority when they can make deals again after his latest showing.
Mykolenko, who is out of contract in the summer, was dismal when it came to attacking, with three crosses attempted, and just one completed against the Clarets, per Sofascore.
The Ukrainian took 66 total touches and lost possession 20 times, which definitely did not help his side as they tried to secure all three points.
Defensively, he did not impress either, with no interceptions and only one tackle attempted, although he did make three recoveries in the clash.

In terms of duels, he won just one of three on the ground and two of six in the air, which is simply not good enough.
Moyes must take action after what Mykolenko did
Mykolenko has struggled defensively this season, and that was the case again in Lancashire.
He has also failed to make a connection with Jack Grealish on the left side, as the Englishman cannot rely on the defender to overlap.
This is evident from the fact that Grealish only passed to Mykolenko four times in the 1-0 loss to Arsenal, one time in the 2-0 loss to Chelsea and twice in the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, per Opta.
It is time to find a replacement for the 26-year-old; he is not the type of player that the Toffees need on the left side of defence, on either side of the ball.
That has been clear for a while, and the draw with the promoted side only serves to further the point.
