Hill Dickinson Stadium registered as new office address

Goodison Park was Everton’s home for 133 years, and leaving it was emotional and quite historic, especially for fans of an older generation.

However, up until now, it was still the registered office of Everton Football Club, with new documents now released on Companies House stating that they have now registered the Hill Dickinson Stadium as their base, so to speak.

Essentially, it means that their newly-built ground is the home from a legal and corporate point of view.

While it may seem standard, it’s an important step that is taken upon a move to a new stadium in regard to regulations and also commercial opportunities.

As for what this means for the future of Goodison Park remains to be seen, though it is now the home of Everton’s Women’s team.

What is the legal significance of Goodison Park documents?

Essentially, a company’s registered office is used for statutory correspondence and also serves as the home for dealing with any future legal matters.

With the Goodison Park documents now released, it means that Everton Football Club Company have officialy and formally ended their legal association with the old ground.

Not only is the Hill Dickinson Stadium Everton‘s home from a matchday point of view, but it is also where the club essentially exists as a company, with corporate and administrative processes taking place here from this point onwards.

It’s the next step in Everton’s chapter.
