Jack Grealish ‘opens door’ to Everton transfer as negotiations update emerges
Jack Grealish is eager to complete a permanent transfer to Everton from Manchester City.
The Toffees signed the 30-year-old on a season-long loan from the Cityzens in the summer, but he’s open to staying in Merseyside.
David Moyes has ruled out paying £50million for Grealish, and it doesn’t look like the Blues have any intention of paying the buy option in the current deal.
With Iliman Ndiaye’s future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium uncertain, the England international’s continuity in L4 seems imperative.

Everton set to haggle with Manchester City over Jack Grealish transfer
Negotiations between the Toffees and Man City are expected to take place over a fee to sign Grealish, according to The i Paper.
The news outlet reports on 29 December that the Englishman’s decision to move to the Blues, along with the support of the Hill Dickinson Stadium faithful, could help attract other high-profile signings.
In 16 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside outfit, the forward has scored two goals and provided four assists.
Speaking to The i Paper, one insider said, “He’s the one who has opened doors for Everton, and it wouldn’t surprise me if others follow him.”
Antoine Semeyo’s possible transfer to Man City makes Grealish’s future clear, with the England international surely surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.
The Friedkin Group have an opportunity to get a magnificent deal over the line in L4, but it remains to be seen whether the American owners have the financial means to do it.
David Moyes to push for Jack Grealish signing after what’s happened
Moyes was unable to break down Burnley at Turf Moor on 27 December, with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.
Everton were devoid of creativity against the Clarets without Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye, highlighting their importance to the team.
If TFG have any ambition at the Toffees, then they’ll do everything in their power to keep the Man City loanee beyond the current campaign.
Grealish’s situation in the coming months will surely be worth keeping an eye on, as fans in Merseyside hope to make him theirs.
