Nottingham Forest vs Everton result predicted by supercomputer
Everton travel to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday in their final encounter of 2025.
Everton could only manage a point against Burnley last time out, in a game that lacked any real attacking quality.
Though the same could be said about their last three games, all of which the Toffees have failed to score in.
Everton face Nottingham Forest at The City Ground on Tuesday night, looking to end that record and end the year on a high.

Everton are the underdogs against Sean Dyche’s side
Everton have lost just one of their last seven encounters with Nottingham Forest, having won the most recent one 3-0 earlier this month.
Thierno Barry scored his first goal for Everton that day, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall also on the score sheet for the Toffees.
However, with defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal since then, followed by the latest draw against Burnley, Everton have failed to win or even score a goal since then.
Unfortunately, that record may live on into the new year, with Opta‘s supercomputer placing Forest as the most likely team to take all three points on Tuesday.

They have a 42.4 per cent chance of victory, while the Toffees have a 30.9 per cent chance of taking all three points.
Everton are 90 minutes away from unwanted history
Defeat for Everton could theoretically take them down to 15th, though that would require the teams below them to take three points from their encounters ahead of the new year.
With that said, a win could also take them up to seventh.
However, the Toffees’ recent form is certainly cause for concern, and their record in the final game of the year is just as worrying.
Ironically, Everton lost 2-0 against Forest this time last year, while also having suffered a 3-0 defeat at the end of the year in 2023, at the hands of Wolves.
If a defeat were to come their way again on Tuesday, it would be the first time in their history that they have lost their last league game in three consecutive calendar years.
