Chris Sutton reveals why Everton should worry in new prediction vs Nottingham Forest

Everton face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Tuesday evening as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Toffees have failed to secure the three points in each of their last three games, losing twice and being held to a draw by Burnley on Saturday.

Everton battered Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier this month, in what was Sean Dyche’s first trip back to the blue half of Merseyside.

However, David Moyes’ side could be in for a more difficult contest this time around, with several players out for different reasons.

Everton should fear Nottingham Forest

Everton are without Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye for their trip to the City Ground, with the pair away on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will also miss the game through injury, and there are still doubts over the fitness of Jack Grealish, who was absent from the draw with Burnley.

As for Nottingham Forest, they come into the contest off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.

However, the Trentside outfit pushed Pep Guardiola’s side all the way last Saturday, and can take the positives from a good performance.

In his weekly column on BBC Sport, former Premier League winner Chris Sutton predicts that Forest will beat Everton 1-0 at the City Ground and highlighted why the Toffees should be fearful of Dyche’s side.

Sutton said: “It was an impressive Forest display (against Man City). Because of that, and because of who Everton will be missing, I am backing Dyche to get the better of his old team this time. 1-0”

What changes will Moyes make for Nottingham Forest clash?

Grealish missed the draw against Burnley with a virus, and it is unknown whether the winger will be back in time for the trip to Forest.

Moyes may be forced to risk Grealish from the start, though, given Everton’s lack of creativity at Turf Moor, which could see Dwight McNeil drop to the bench.

Beto was given an opportunity against Burnley, but failed to take his chance, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Thierno Barry reclaim his place in the starting lineup.

Everton predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest.

Tyler Dibling showed glimpses of quality in the 0-0 draw, and with the absence of Ndiaye, looks to be Moyes’ preferred option on the right wing.
