Everton named as potential landing spot for Brennan Johnson as transfer agreement reached
Everton are keen on bringing Tottenham star Brennan Johnson to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this January.
David Moyes will be hoping to see Everton do some business in January, with the additionof a striker set to be the number one priority.
Neither Beto nor Thierno Barry have showcased their ability in the Premier League, with the Toffees among the lowest scorers in the division so far this season.
However, the Merseysiders are also looking to reinforce their wide options, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Toffees have expressed an interest in signing Johnson.

Brennan Johnson named as new Everton target
Brennan Johnson, who was once linked with Everton, has become a bit-part player at Tottenham under Thomas Frank, with all signs now pointing towards an exit in January.
Crystal Palace have already reached an agreement for his transfer, though several other clubs have also reported an interest.
Everton being one of them, according to Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube channel.
Sunderland and Bournemouth have also been named as potential destinations for the Wales international, who scored 9 times for Tottenham last season in all competitions.
His form in the previous campaign earned him plenty of plaudits, including from Bellamy, who praised the qualities that the 24-year-old has to offer.
Everton must go all out for Johnson after what Bellamy said
This season has been a bit of a write-off for Johnson, who simply hasn’t had the exposure to regular minutes that a winger usually needs to thrive.
However, in seasons prior to the current one, he has shone.
In both of his previous campaigns at Tottenham, the Wales international registered double figures for goals and assists.
Five of his 18 goals arrived in the Europa League, while the remaining 11 all arrived in the Premier League despite the fact that Tottenham finished 17th.
His form earned him plenty of praise, and Bellamy was the one shouting home about him more than anyone.
As quoted by the Independent, he said: “His high intensity is through the roof, and he is elite.
“Spurs have paid that money, and he could have a bad few years. But if I were in another job and he was worth £80m I’d go and buy him for that.
“Trust me, he’s got every part of football that makes him an elite player. That’s the player I see.”
