Tyler Dibling risks Everton axe as brutal Premier League claim emerges
Everton shouldn’t be expected to give Tyler Dibling opportunities if he continues to disappoint in the Premier League, Michael Ball says.
David Moyes’ team face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on 30 December, and the Scottish manager will be looking for a creative spark from his attackers.
Sean Dyche suffered defeat at the Hill Dickinson Stadium a few weeks back, but the Blues have since failed to win any of their three league matches.
In the absence of Iliman Ndiaye, Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, the former Southampton forward played the full 90 minutes, but failed to make the most of it.

Everton need more from Tyler Dibling
The Toffees didn’t buy Dibling just for him keep the ball and pass it around.
Having paid £42million for the English youngster, the Hill Dickinson Stadium have every right to expect more from him when he plays.
The 19-year-old has to take the few opportunities he’s getting under Moyes, given the cutthroat nature of the Premier League.
Writing in the Liverpool Echo on 30 December, Ball said, “We’ve paid the big money to provide an end product, by getting a shot or a cross in, not just keep possession.”
“When he’s in those areas, he needs to beat his man, find some space and express himself. These are the chances you need to take because in Premier League football you don’t get five or six opportunities to find your level.”
Once Ndiaye returns from the Africa Cup of Nations, the ex-Southampton ace will surely struggle for minutes on the right-wing.
David Moyes knows one forward already has head away from Hill Dickinson Stadium
Sean Dyche wants to reunite with Dwight McNeil at Forest, and Moyes may be willing to sanction his exit towards the end of the winter transfer window.
The former Burnley star was woeful for Everton at Turf Moor on 27 December, and it looks like he’s already thinking about leaving the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |
| Premier League | 9 | 0 | 0 | 256 |
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Englishman push for a move away in January after falling down the pecking order in the current campaign.
While McNeil and Dibling will surely get a chance to stake their claim in the team, they don’t have much time to do so.
