Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall availability for Everton vs Brentford emerges as one player could return

Everton are expected to be without Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall against Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Keith Andrews’ team will travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 4 January, with the Toffees looking to close the gap on the top five in the Premier League.

Iliman Ndiaye has picked up an injury with Senegal, but there don’t seem to be any concerns about him at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Merseyside outfit will be looking to build another winning run after their recent losses to Arsenal and Chelsea and their draw against Burnley, with Moyes aiming for a European spot.

Michael Keane expected to return in Everton vs Brentford

Michael Keane could return to action for the Toffees against Brentford.

While the centre-back is in contention to be ready at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the same can’t be said about Dewsbury-Hall and Carlos Alcaraz.

It will be interesting to see how the Merseyside outfit will line up against the West London club without some of their midfield stars.

When asked whether Dewsbury-Hall, Keane, or Alcaraz have a chance to be available against the Bees, Moyes said, “Keane has got a chance, but I would say the others don’t have a chance.”

Moyes got the better of Nottingham Forest once again at the City Ground, with James Garner and Thierno Barry scoring in the 2-0 victory.

Brentford’s recent form of two wins and one draw makes them a challenging opponent, especially after they held Tottenham to a stalemate at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Dwight McNeil set for heartbreak vs Brentford

Dwight McNeil has been linked with a move to Forest in January, but Moyes has had to rely on him due to recent injuries and absences.

Despite the Englishman’s impressive performance at the City Ground, he may have to make way for Jack Grealish in the starting lineup.

With McNeil’s future uncertain at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it wouldn’t make sense for the Scottish manager to give him regular minutes over someone like Tyler Dibling.

What the future holds for the forward in Merseyside remains to be seen.
