Everton to bring in extra millions as new Vitalii Mykolenko to Galatasaray update drops
Vitalii Mykolenko’s future at Everton seems to have been decided, and it could gain millions for the club.
Mykolenko had been linked with an Everton exit, with Turkish side Galatasaray entering negotiations with the Blues.
However, talks broke down as the 25-time champions were not willing to meet the asking price set by David Moyes‘ side.
It now looks as though Mykolenko is set to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after a new update emerged, but it could work out financially for the Blues.

Mykolenko set to sign new contract at Everton
Mykolenko’s contract at Everton was set to expire in the summer, but it appears that both parties want to commit to each other.
A report from Sport.ua on 5 January shares that Ukrainian journalist Igor Burbas has claimed that the Blues have extended his deal until the summer of 2027.
It states that the 25-year-old is only interested in staying at the elite level and the Toffees will keep hold of him, as Moyes has previously claimed.
How can Mykolenko agreement secure millions for Everton?
With the Ukrainian star out of contract in the summer, he would not have earned the Blues a single penny had he moved on.
He could even have signed with a foreign club on a free transfer, as of 1 January, if he wanted to take a different step in his career.
- Mykolenko has played 141 times for the Blues
- He has scored four goals and notched three assists in that time
- He has been capped 51 times by the Ukraine national team
However, by signing a new deal with the Merseysiders, that means that if they do decide to sell him and upgrade, then they will gain millions, rather than nothing if he had left at the end of his deal.
Regardless of their intentions, it is a clever move from the Blues and goes to show the impact of the Friedkin Group since they took over from Farhad Moshiri.
The American ownership have constantly shown their financial strength and knowledge, and this is just another example.
It may end up benefitting massively for the club.
