Everton prepare for Jack Grealish departure as transfer deal in pipeline

Everton need to have a transfer contingency in place as Jack Grealish will return to Manchester City at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old has been influential since moving to the Toffees on a season-long loan, but it remains to be seen whether they will sign him permanently.

David Moyes has already dismissed paying £50million for Grealish, with the England international’s age possibly tempting the Blues to renegotiate the buy option.

Iliman Ndiaye is also expected to attract interest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Champions League clubs surely looking at his performances, making it evident that the Merseyside outfit must plan for the future.

Zuriko Davitashvili emerges as transfer target for Everton

The Friedkin Group have an incentive to make sure the Toffees maintain their quality in the coming years if they hope to achieve something special.

Moyes has been affected by some inconsistent displays from his team this season, with the lack of quality in depth undoubtedly an issue at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

There is no guarantee that Grealish will continue at the Blues, with top teams surely keeping tabs on his displays in L4.

Saint-Etienne left-winger Zuriko Davitashvili has emerged as a target for Everton, with the Georgia international in demand right now.

It’s been reported that the Ligue 2 outfit have no intention of selling the 24-year-old in January as they look to win promotion back to the top flight, but a deal could potentially be in the pipeline for the Merseysiders next summer.

Last season, Davitashvili scored nine goals and provided 8 assists in 33 Ligue 1 appearances, and understandably, he’s catching a lot of attention.

Friedkin Group have to go again despite £42m failure at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Moyes seems to have lost patience with Tyler Dibling, with the Scottish manager opting to substitute the forward at half-time against Brentford.

Everton lost 4-2 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 4 January, with the former Southampton ace poor.

The Blues spent £42million on the 19-year-old in the summer, but he’s been unable to live up to expectations so far.

While TFG would’ve surely hoped for Dibling to make an impact in Merseyside, that doesn’t seem likely anytime soon, and the Americans should be determined to invest in the team again next summer.
