‘Everton will be interested in Millwall duo’, Championship club tipped to accept bids
Everton could turn their attention to the Championship in the final weeks of the January transfer window.
Watford ace Imran Louza has already been linked to Everton as the Toffees look to refresh their midfield options for the second half of the season.
It looks as if Harrison Armstrong could return to Preston, so the need for reinforcements could take a step up in the coming days.
That need will be helped by the return of Idrissa Gueye from AFCON, but it may not stop David Moyes from looking for options elsewhere.
Millwall may be inspected closely, with two of their stars potentially able to plug two holes on Merseyside.

Everton told to sign Millwall duo
The Blues are in the market for a midfielder, but a new striker is also something that has emerged as an option in L4.
Romelu Lukaku has been linked with an Everton return alongside several other number nines, as well as multiple midfield options.
Former Millwall goalkeeper Bryan King has suggested that the Toffees could kill two birds with one stone and sign both Casper de Norre and Mihailo Ivanovic in January.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: “I’d sooner go and get de Norre from Millwall rather than Louza.
“I can’t see him [Louza] being an improvement on the current Everton squad, to be honest.

“He doesn’t generate a big interest from me. I would say de Norre would be a better option, but it’s all about whether Millwall would sell him or not.
“All of a sudden, Millwall are in the playoff hunt, and they’ve got Ivanovic as well. He’s been linked with plenty of clubs because he’s not that old, and he’s scored goals.
“He’s obviously going to get interest from Premier League clubs, so I would imagine Everton will be looking at them both.
“I think money will dictate the situation around them. If the money is big enough, I’m sure Millwall will be in a position to have a look at it; that’s for sure.
“Money is a big thing for them, it’s the one thing they need to up everything.“
What could Mihailo Ivanovic add to Everton?
There is no hiding from the fact that the Toffees want a new striker as a potential replacement for Beto if he is to leave.
The Serbia international could prove to be an excellent option after one and a half seasons in the Championship with Millwall.
He scored 13 goals at The Den last season and has already added six to his tally this campaign, and could make a move to the Premier League this winter.
Mihailo Ivanovic’s strengths:
- Direct free-kicks
- Likes to do flick-ons
- Plays the ball off the ground often
- Doesn’t dive into tackles
Ivanovic is good on the ball and is certainly a finisher, but also has an eye for the spectacular, whether that be a free-kick or a technical strike.
A deal would all depend on the fee, but at 21 years old, any money spent could prove to be great value if he hits the ground running on Merseyside.
