Everton immediately respond to official bid for late Tim Iroegbunam exit
Everton have had a quiet transfer window so far, but it could start heating up with just a week left until the deadline.
The Toffees are yet to make a single senior signing, despite links to various centre-forward and right-back options.
Everton have rejected an offer for Beto over the past few days after Turkish side Fenerbahce submitted a formal loan bid for the Guinea-Bissau international.
Now, the Toffees have made a decision on the future of Tim Iroegbunam, following a new approach for the midfielder from Italy.
Everton reject offer for Tim Iroegbunam
Lazio have been tracking Iroegbunam in recent weeks, and on Sunday, they submitted an official offer for the 22-year-old.
The bid was reportedly worth around £10million, with the Italian side hoping that would be enough to convince Everton to sell.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Toffees immediately rejected the offer.

There’s no word yet on whether the Serie A outfit will return with an improved bid before the end of the window on 2 February.
Even if they do, though, it is likely that Moyes would demand a replacement before letting the Englishman depart.
Why are Everton keeping Tim Iroegbunam?
Iroegbunam missed the last two Everton games due to injury, but started the five previous matches before that with Idrissa Gueye away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Gueye is now back from his successful AFCON campaign with Senegal, along with Iliman Ndiaye, but the Toffees are still unwilling to let Iroegbunam depart.
The Merseyside outfit believes that he has a lot of potential and, as he is still only 22, can develop into a strong Premier League midfielder.
Moyes has consistently maintained that he does not want to lose a single player in the winter transfer window, and Iroegbunam is very much included in that.
The 22-year-old will miss Everton’s game against Leeds United on Monday night as he continues to recover from injury.
