Everton could agree Sheffield United swap deal amid Femi Seriki transfer latest
Femi Seriki has been linked with a move to Everton.
David Moyes will be pulling his hair out at the lack of transfer activity going on at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the Toffees still yet to bring any new quality through the door, despite us having entered the fifth week of the window.
With that said, several players have been linked with a move to Everton, some admittedly looser than others, with Seriki one of those mooted for a switch.
The 23-year-old has been a regular at Sheffield United this season, making it unlikely that they will sanction a winter exit, though they could be tempted under one condition.
And it’s one that may require plenty of thought on Merseyside.

Sheffield United had shown loan interest in Everton star in summer
For what has been an errily quiet January window, Everton somewhat made up for it with plenty of moves in the summer, and not just from an incoming perspective.
A total of 12 players were let go by the Toffees, but one player who stayed was Tim Iroegbunam, despite loan interest from Sheffield United.
Iroegbunam has again been linked with an exit from Everton in this window, but given how much gametime he has had this season, it seems unlikely that they will let him go, at least permanently.
However, depending on how serious the Toffees are about their interest in Seriki, there could be a short-term deal to be had.

Sheffield United have been looking for a midfielder all winter, and with Dan Neil, who was mooted as a serious target for the Blades, set for Ipswich, they may still be on the hunt.
It would perhaps be a risky move for Everton to allow Iroegbunam to leave on loan, but depending on what his role in the team will be once those who are injured return, it may be a deal that makes sense, if it guarantees that he will play week in and week out.

Everton set to face new midfield dilemma
When everyone is fit, which, admittedly, is a rare occurrence, Everton have plenty of midfield options.
James Garner and Idrissa Gueye are usually the go-to pairing, but with Merlin Rohl and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Moyes has options, and that is even before considering Ireogbunam and Harrison Amrstrong, which is where the dilemma starts.
Both the aforementioned duo need to be playing regularly, and one leaving on loan would almost certainly rule out the other doing the same.
For the Toffees, they may need to decide on who would benefit more from regular gametime, which, at this moment in time, may prove to be Armstrong.
