Everton to sanction end-of-window exit for Beto as new conditions emerge
Beto is looking increasingly likely to leave Everton in the final few days of the winter transfer market.
David Moyes wants to sign a new striker, but time is running out for the Friedkin Group.
Beto has been criticised for missing big chances for the Toffees in recent times, and many feel like he hasn’t repaid the big fee that Everton spent on him back in the summer of 2023.
But the centre-forward could be on his way out of Merseyside, with Juventus interested in signing Beto on loan.
The Toffees rejected the Bianconeri’s approach, as details over Everton‘s stance for a departure may prove telling from now until Monday’s deadline.

Everton would be open to a Beto sale, only if a replacement is lined up
Beto had a positive spell under Moyes at the back end of last campaign, but hasn’t been able to continue his form into this season.
The 27-year-old hasn’t won himself over in the Bluenoses good books, and a departure almost seems the right decision to make for all parties at this stage.
Everton have already said that Beto can only leave if it’s a permanent sale, but that stance now appears to make complete sense.
- Beto has two Premier League goals in 23 appearances for Everton this season
- He has an expected goals tally of 4.68
According to the Liverpool Echo on Friday, it’s unlikely that Everton will sanction the permanent sale of Beto, unless they have a replacement lined up already.
This suggests that the Toffees would use the funds of the number nine’s departure to go towards a replacement.
But the fact that the Blues are even having to wait for Beto’s sale to sign his upgrade could be a slight worry.
All signs pointing towards Everton using loan market for late signings
There have been suggestions that the Friedkin Group could be financially limited this window and will only look to recruit through loan arrivals.
It doesn’t make sense, especially when Everton fans have been promised ambition, which is especially concerning with how well Moyes has the Toffees currently doing in the league.
Everton have been lurking around for Fenerbahce’s Youssef En-Neysri, but their hesitation could be costly with other sides interested and willing to pay the money for his signature permanently.
Then again, players only become available for loans late on in the window, and the Toffees could soon see a domino effect take place at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
