‘Raheem Sterling to accept £192,000-a-week Everton contract offer’ – Exclusive
Raheem Sterling could be on his way to Everton this winter.
Sterling has emerged as a target for Everton after his contract with Chelsea was mutually terminated after failing to play a game this season.
The ex-England international is available on a free transfer and could prove to be useful cover after Jack Grealish picked up an injury blow at Everton.
It looks as if Grealish will miss multiple months of Everton action, so an experienced forward option may be seen as a useful addition.
The Toffees can now table an offer to Sterling, with their tabled wages likely to excite the winger after his Stamford Bridge departure.
Everton to table multi-million offer to Raheem Sterling
Everton may have an eye on Romelu Lukaku, Jhon Duran and other strikers, but a new wide man appears to be the newest target on Merseyside.
The ex-Arsenal man hasn’t featured in a single game since May, but did play 28 games throughout his Emirates spell last campaign.

Sterling has bags of experience that could make a massive difference under David Moyes across the second half of the season.
Former Everton scout Bryan King has backed the Toffees to make a £192,000-a-week contract offer to the Englishman for the rest of the season.
And he believes it’s one that Sterling will be happy to accept.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: “You can’t take away from him that he’s been quality in his career.
“Everton have had a little bit of history bringing in older players, like Gascgoine and Tony Cottee.

“He certainly wouldn’t be on the wages he was at Chelsea. If he were to join Everton for six months, he’d be on a decent package.
“Even a bit-part player costs £5m nowadays, so if he can get a package around that value for six months, he’d be very happy.“
Sterling to replace Jack Grealish at Everton
Grealish is set to be out for the foreseeable, so bringing in experienced cover can only be seen as a positive in L4.
Sterling may not be the most glamorous of signings, but when one of your best players is ruled out for the season, a needs must situation arises.
Moyes could go much worse than signing the winger on a loan deal, as he looks to fill a gap in his side after the loanee’s injury.
Making an offer to Sterling doesn’t have a downside and could see the former Liverpool man begin his remontada in the Premier League.
