Everton handed blockbuster Baris Alper Yilmaz transfer opportunity in £34.6m update
Everton could potentially solve their attacking crisis by signing Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz in the final hours of the winter transfer window.
Yilmaz was linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium last summer, but the Toffees ended up getting Jack Grealish, Tyler Dibling and Thierno Barry to reinforce their forward line.
The Blues still only have two natural number nines in the former Villarreal star and Beto, making further additions an evident priority up front.
With Moyes possibly without Grealish for the rest of the season, the Merseyside outfit should be on the lookout for a replacement, and the Turkiye international may be back on the market before the 2 February deadline.

Galatasaray open to Baris Alper Yilmaz sale amid previous Everton interest
Yilmaz could be allowed to leave soon if Galatasaray receive an offer of around £34.6million, according to Selahattin Kinali.
The A Spor journalist claims that there’s an issue between the 25-year-old forward and the Super Lig club’s fans, making his future at RAMS Park uncertain.
With the Hill Dickinson Stadium hierarchy surely in need of an attacker, they should make an approach for the Turkiye international who the Istanbul side are ready to sell.
Speaking on A Spor on 31 January, Kinali said, “Galatasaray could immediately give up on Barış Alper Yılmaz if a €35m–€40m offer comes in, because there was also an issue regarding the bond between the player and the fans.”
Moyes expects The Friedkin Group to invest only in loan signings, but the Blues shouldn’t dismiss any market opportunities.
Yilmaz has been consistently performing for Galatasaray over the past few seasons, with seven goals and 10 assists in 29 appearances this season.

David Moyes makes transfer statement at Amex Stadium
Moyes clearly doesn’t trust Adam Aznou, with the former Bayern Munich youngster not involved in the squad at the Amex Stadium.
Everton face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on 31 January, with Moyes starting four centre-backs.

Aznou seems to be on his way out, and Nathan Patterson also hasn’t been able to make a case for himself under the Scottish manager.
It’s a clear indication that Moyes doesn’t feel he has the necessary quality at full-back to trust most of the options at his disposal, making further additions at the back a priority for the Merseyside outfit in the final hours of the window.
