Everton transfer round-up: David Moyes confirms late signing as perfect Tyrique George reveal drops
Everton are yet to make a splash in the winter transfer window, despite suffering from several issues at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Harrison Armstrong being recalled from his loan spell at Preston is the closest that David Moyes has come to a new signing in the past month.
That’s despite several injury issues and Jack Grealish possibly missing the rest of the season with a new foot issue that could require surgery.
Everton still have irons in the fire as they aim to bolster their side before the transfer cut-off, and here, Goodison News has the biggest and best transfer news from the weekend for you to check through all in one place.

Kevin Boma bids to skyrocket as Everton target late arrival
Estoril central defender Kevin Boma is catching the eye of some of Europe’s biggest clubs as he continues to shine in Portugal this season.
Everton made a late proposal to sign the defender, but he will be staying where he is until the summer.
It is said that Estoril have faced constant phone calls over the past month, with bids expected to skyrocket going into the summer.

Looking at his stats via Sofascore, Boma is a confident ball-playing defender who completes over 85 per cent of his passes per game on average.
With over five clearances and three ball recoveries per 90 minutes, too, it’s clear he can do both sides of the work for Moyes should he sign.

David Moyes expects late signing to be confirmed at Everton
Moyes stole the headlines for his reaction to getting booked for celebrating Everton’s late equaliser at Brighton on Saturday.
When things had calmed down, though, he had a simple answer for the barrage of transfer questions.
Moyes was asked if he expected new arrivals at Everton, to which he simply replied: “Yes, I do.”
Sunderland think Tyrique George is perfect with late battle lost
Everton are set to win the race to sign Tyrique George on loan from Chelsea.
George could also turn that move permanent in the summer, but it wasn’t as straightforward as it seems.

Sunderland chiefs did view George as the “perfect” player for their system, and it has not been ruled out that they make a late move for the winger.
However, Everton now have an agreement in principle with Chelsea for George, who has been given the green light to undergo his medical.
The England youth international looks to be on his way to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, though, and looking at his stats via Sofascore, fans could be in for a treat.
With six final third passes per game on average in only 10 appearances, George could replace Grealish in that winger role where he looks to carve out opportunities from anywhere.
Either way, it looks set to be far from quiet on deadline day on Bramley-Moore Dock.
