Jack Grealish can take step closer to permanent Everton deal as contract talks intensify
Everton could soon welcome Jack Grealish back to Merseyside on a permanent deal.
Grealish is set to miss the season through injury as his loan spell at the Hill Dickinson Stadium looks set to come to an unfortunate end.
David Moyes had helped get the best out of the loanee, with Grealish potentially open to an Everton return ready for next campaign.
Everton are still paying Grealish’s wages for the season, so it will be hopeful to get something out of that payment scheme at the end of the campaign.
There may now be renewed hope over a new agreement with Grealish, potentially set to benefit from contract discussions away from L4.

Jack Grealish can benefit from new contract talks
Everton would love to keep Grealish for the long-term as his impact has been clear for all to see on Merseyside in recent months.
The ex-England international has been a creative outlet and has put up good numbers, and arguably would have expected even more from himself.
He has contributed to eight Premier League goals, and it is hugely frustrating that his progress won’t be able to continue.
His injury arguably played a role as Everton made a late offer to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham ahead of the winter transfer deadline.
Moyes and Co. failed in their efforts to sign the Wales international, and now The Standard has reported that Fulham are intensifying efforts to tie the 28-year-old down to a new deal.
If those discussions are to go well, it feels increasingly likely that the Blues will return to Grealish and look to make him their marquee signing of the summer.
Harry Wilson could spark domino effect at Everton
The Cottagers must be confident in their efforts to get Wilson to sign a new deal as they are reportedly “desperate” for him to stick around.
Penning that deal would end any chance of a Craven Cottage exit and spark any interested parties into looking elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.

Everton are lucky that they have an option right under their noses with Grealish, but they may look to offload in order to afford a permanent deal.
That could see someone like Beto complete a long-awaited exit to finance a deal for the Englishman.
There are plenty of discussions to be held between now and the summer, but it appears that Wilson is going to stick around in West London.
