Supercomputer predicts worrying six-year first for Everton vs Fulham
Everton are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to take on Fulham.
Everton have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions heading into this weekend’s clash, with that defeat being in the FA Cup at home to Sunderland.
However, the worry for David Moyes will be that his side have also won just two of their last 10 in all competitions, dating back to the start of December.
This Saturday’s clash with the Cottagers presents the opportunity to rectify that, but Opta’s supercomputer has other ideas.

Everton’s impressive record vs Fulham to come to an end
Fulham have been mentioned plenty of times over Merseyside over the last few days, mainly due to the links connecting Harry Wilson with a move to Everton.
However, with the weekend fast-approaching, many are also talking about the Toffees’ record against the Cottagers in recent times.
Everton are unbeaten in their last four against Fulham, having been winless in the five encounters previous to that run.
The last time Everton lost on their travels against Fulham was back in 2019, when Ryan Babel and Tom Cairney both netted in the second half to secure a 2-0 win.
But as per Opta, that record is expected to end this weekend, with Fulham having been awarded a 45.3 per cent chance of victory, compared to Everton’s 27.8 per cent.
Stat shows where Everton can hurt Fulham the most
It’s been a near-identical season for Everton and Fulham, who both sit on the same number of points, while also having the same goal difference of minus one.
However, one of the biggest differences is the number of goals conceded.
The Cottagers have conceded 35 times this season compared to Everton’s 27, and three of those goals conceded by Fulham have seen them fall to a defeat in the 90th minute.
In total, they have been on the wrong end of 25 winning goals in the 90th minute of their encounters over the years, which is the third-highest in the Premier League.
If Everton can maintain full focus until the final whistle, and, of course, still be in the game by that point, they could nick all three points.
