Everton player slammed for dozing off in dangerous moment vs Fulham
Everton go 1-0 down into the break against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
David Moyes’ team have travelled to Craven Cottage on 7 February, as they look to continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Dwight McNeil’s transfer saga with Crystal Palace would’ve surely taken a toll on him, and he’s been left out of the squad for the trip to West London.
Tyrique George makes the bench against Fulham, and it will be interesting to see whether he makes his debut against the Cottagers.
Iliman Ndiaye sleeps as Fulham create opportunity vs Everton
Iliman Ndiaye was caught watching the ball as Fulham created an opportunity against the Toffees in around the 15th minute.
Samu Chukwueze played the ball in behind, with the Senegal international failing to do his defensive duties and stop the cross from going in.
Soon after, Raul Jimenez’s effort on goal forced an own goal from Vitalii Mykolenko, with the Cottagers threatening on a few other occasions.
Speaking on Premier League Productions on 7 February, Tony Gale said, “Ndiaye was caught ball-watching there. Great little ball, Chukwueze, but Ndiaye on the far side just dozed off completely. Look at him here, he’s looking at the ball, not following the man at all, not opening up his body.”
Moyes’ team are seen as an underdog as they face Fulham, but the Scottish manager will surely be confident of getting the better of Marco Silva in West London.
The second half will surely be interesting for the away supporters as they wait and see what changes the 62-year-old head coach may have in store.
David Moyes can’t delay usual substitution vs Fulham
Thierno Barry has been in fine form for Moyes in recent weeks, scoring four goals in his last six Premier League matches.
The former Villarreal striker has had his moments, but the game at Craven Cottage doesn’t seem to suit his strength — running into the channels with his pace.

Beto came off the bench late on and made a difference against Brighton & Hove Albion, and the Scottish manager shouldn’t wait long this time around to bring him on.
Beto’s presence is clearly needed at Craven Cottage, and Barry surely hasn’t done enough to keep his place on the pitch after the break.
