David Moyes has no choice but to rip up Everton plans after win vs Fulham

Everton continued their good Premier League form on Saturday afternoon with a comeback victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the star for the Toffees, as they recovered from an early Vitalii Mykolenko own goal to beat the Cottagers 2-1.

Fulham dominated early on, and should’ve been more than just the one goal to the good at half-time, missing a number of big opportunities.

David Moyes’ side made them pay after the break, Dewsbury-Hall firing home the equaliser before Bernd Leno punched a corner into his own net to hand Everton all three points.

Tyrique George impresses on Everton debut

Everton signed Tyrique George from Chelsea on deadline day, bringing the young forward in on loan until the end of the season.

The Merseyside outfit also retain the option to make the deal permanent in the summer, if the 20-year-old impresses during his time at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

George made his debut for the Toffees against Fulham, coming off the bench to replace Harrison Armstrong in the 69th minute.

Just six minutes after the Chelsea loanee entered the fray, he played an important role in the equaliser, finding Mykolenko in space down the left-hand side, before the defender’s cross was converted by Dewsbury-Hall.

With his immediate impact, as well as his all-around performance off the bench, George showed that he could be a big player for Everton in the final few months of the season.

David Moyes must make Tyrique George decision

George has far too much quality to be left on the bench going forward, and Moyes will surely throw him into the starting lineup against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

The Scot may have originally planned to introduce him slowly, but his performance against Fulham has surely accelerated the situation.

With Jack Grealish out injured and Tyler Dibling underperforming, the Toffees have been lacking creativity in recent weeks, and Moyes has effectively been forced to start Harrison Armstrong.

Armstrong has coped well since his return from Preston North End, but George adds something different, and Moyes will surely have to rip up his original plans to get him in the starting lineup.
