Everton set price for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as Manchester City eye ‘significant’ summer swoop
Everton could already be resigned to losing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees have been on an upward surge in the Premier League this season and are on course to beat their points tally from last campaign, and may even finish in a spot for European football.
Dewsbury-Hall’s impressive performances have been a big reason for that, as the midfielder once again showed his class for the Blues in their 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday.
David Moyes has big ambitions on Merseyside, and losing key players could be detrimental to the club’s long-term future.
However, Everton may have no choice, with Manchester City now said to be keen to lure Dewsbury-Hall to the Etihad Stadium in a couple of months.
Everton set £34.7m up-front pricetag for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Everton signed Dewsbury-Hall on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer for £25million and could owe Liam Rosenior’s side further funds with add-ons.
Now, the Toffees could soon make a profit on the Englishman, with interest expected to pick up ahead of the summer window.
- Dewsbury Hall’s deal with Everton expires in June 2030
- He has only played 19 times so far for the Blues
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes on Sunday, Manchester City are working on a deal to sign Dewsbury-Hall in the summer.
The Toffees do not want to lose him, but would reportedly consider a £34.7million offer should other conditions, such as potential add-ons, suit.
Everton know that it will be hard to keep the midfielder should a “significant” offer come their way, and Pep Guardiola’s formerly treble-winning side are known to have money to spend.

The Friedkin Group and Co. are waiting for developments, as Man City’s interest is firm, and preliminary discussions have started between the clubs. The player is said to be “calm” about the situation.

TFG walking on thin ice if they sell Dewsbury-Hall; here’s why
Everton were fairly quiet in the winter window this season, with Tyrique George the only new addition for Moyes.
The 62-year-old expressed his desire to improve multiple areas in the window, and the Friedkin Group didn’t really show that they could match his ambition.
Now, selling Dewsbury-Hall could be what sends the Everton boss over the edge, but it would take much, much more than the fee suggested.

As highlighted by Sofascore in the graphic above, the attacking midfielder has been on fire for the Toffees in the Premier League, averaging a remarkable 7.24 rating.
The 27-year-old is reaching the peak of his powers with the Blues, and selling him so soon into a five-year deal would possibly push Moyes to walk, given what’s already been seen in other transfer windows.
