Everton take brutal swipe at Fulham star after what he said about Jordan Pickford
Bernd Leno’s comment on Jordan Pickford hadn’t been forgotten by Everton.
Everton secured a 2-1 victory away to Fulham on Saturday, taking them up to eighth in the Premier League table with 37 points.
It was another familiar performance from the Toffees, who were far below par in the first 45, only to enter another gear in the second half.
And after forcing an error from Leno in the 83rd minute for the winning goal, their social media team couldn’t turn down the chance to have a dig at Leno.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the star of the show for Everton, just as he has been on several occasions already so far this season.
The 27-year-old levelled the game in the 76th minute with a smart finish after a cut back from Vitalii Mykolenko, and it was his corner that led to the winning goal.
Dewsbury-Hall whipped the fall into the box, and Leno ultimately punched the ball into the back of his own net.
The German has previously taken a dig at Jordan Pickford, jokingly placing him 20th in a top 10 goalkeeper ranking, and the Toffees didn’t forget.
Via their TikTok, Everton reposted that video, but of course edited it to include his howler at Craven Cottage.

How did Tyrique George fare on Everton debut?
The second half was a lot better than the first from a performance perspective, and part of that was down to Tyrique George‘s late cameo.
David Moyes handed the youngster his debut in the 69th minute, and the signs were very promising from the start.
The 20-year-old looked confident, but also looked dangerous on the occasions he was given the chance to go forward.
George completed one of his two attempted dribbles, 82 per cent of his 11 attempted passes, and also made two defensive contributions, showcasing his willingness to put the work in off the ball.
It was a promising debut without being spectacular, and his impact in the side will only grow as the campaign goes on.
