Everton really are massive as more eyes on Hill Dickinson than Super Bowl
Everton’s status as a huge club cannot be questioned.
The Toffees are the eighth most successful club in English football, with nine league titles and 24 total trophies to their name.
While they have fallen on bad times recently, they seem to be on the rise under the ownership of the Friedkin Group.
The move to Hill Dickinson Stadium has the potential to do wonders for the Merseysiders, and bring them back to where they belong.

Everton vs Bournemouth was watched more than the Super Bowl in Brazil
Everton fell to a disappointing loss to Bournemouth on Tuesday, but it reaffirmed their status as a massive team.
A report from All Things Brazil on 11 February claimed that it notched 985,000 accumulated views on ESPN Brazil’s YouTube channel, which is a record.
It stated that there were more eyes on that clash than the same outlet’s coverage of the Super Bowl, the American football megaevent, where the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots.
Why did so many Brazilians tune into Everton’s loss to Bournemouth
The reason that so many Brazilians watched the contest may well have nothing to do with the Toffees.
The Cherries recently signed Rayan from Vasco Da Gama in a £25million deal, so many may have been tuning in to catch a glimpse of how he performed.
There has been clamour for him to go to the World Cup in his home nation, so many may have been checking what the hype was all about, and he justified it with a goal against the hosts.
| Stats | Rayan |
| Matches | 3 |
| Goals | 2 |
| Assists | 1 |
| Minutes played | 198 |
Still, the Blues were involved in the record-breaking feat, and supporters will no doubt use it help their case when it comes to the debate over whether the Toffees belong amongst the biggest teams in the nation.
Hopefully, David Moyes’ side can perform on the pitch, and show that they belong with the big boys well and truly, without having to rely on viewing numbers in the near future.
Winning a trophy for the first time since 1995 would be a good start, but that will have to wait until next season as the Blues are out of both domestic club competitions.
Moyes will hope to also have a chance in either the Europa League or Europa Conference League, but they need a big finish to the campaign to ensure that they are in one of those competitions.
