Why David Moyes will walk if TFG pushes summer sale of £100m+ Everton assets

Everton could make well over £100million through the sales of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye in the summer transfer window, with interest present.

But as good as the money may be, David Moyes can’t go another transfer window without being backed.

Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a £70million move for Ndiaye in the summer, as the winger continues to impress at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Not only that, but Manchester City have been credited with interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, with a figure of £35million being bandied about.

Of course, the Toffees wouldn’t sell the attacking midfielder for as low as that, but the prospect of raking in over £100m for the duo is something that will surely excite the Friedkin Group.

The Friedkin Group’s transfer trend that will worry David Moyes

Everton spent £40million on Tyler Dibling in the summer, who has been unable to live up to his price tag since arriving.

The winger isn’t the only transfer miss hit, though, with Merlin Rohl set to become an Everton player permanently at the end of the season for £17.3million, should the Blues stay up.

Even if the Friedkin group sold Ndiaye and Dewsbury-Hall for a combined fee of over £100m, Moyes would surely have doubts over how the money would be invested.

The Toffees had a fairly quiet winter window, and that can only be down to the money that was spent in the summer, which has seemed a complete waste up to now.

Moyes can only carry Everton so far, and selling two of his best players would most likely push him over the edge.

Why Iliman Ndiaye is much more likely to leave Everton than Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Ndiaye is arguably Everton’s best attacker, and the Toffees would surely demand that potential talks over his sale must only start at a fee of £70m.

The 25-year-old has been showing rapid improvement since he arrived on Merseyside in the summer of 2024, and his form deserves a big-money move.

The same could be said about Dewsbury-Hall, who has shown his importance to the Blues in a short space of time.

However, there’s just a feeling that the Englishman can centre Everton’s push for success in future seasons, and he does not seem out of place here at all.
