David Moyes will hope Hill Dickinson Stadium brings better luck vs Man United than Goodison Park
Everton will host Man United for the first ever time in the Premier League at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 23 February.
Neither one of Everton or Man United were in FA Cup action over the weekend, allowing both teams to get an extra week or so of preparation in for the hotly-anticipated clash.
David Moyes‘ side suffered their first defeat in six Premier League games against Bournemouth last time out, losing 2-1 in a game that also saw Jake O’Brien pick up a red card.
United were also left frustrated in their last league outing, drawing 1-1 with relegation-threatened West Ham, but Michael Carrick is yet to taste defeat from his first five games in his latest spell as interim boss of the Red Devils.

Everton have Hill Dickinson chance to wipe Goodison’s United record clean
A new stadium brings new opportunity to write the first few pages of a new history book, and that’s precisely what Everton will be hoping to do in on 23 February.
The Toffees’ record at Hill Dickinson Stadium has been underwhelming in its inaugural season though, with just four wins from 13 Premier League games in their new home so far.
And, with 12 games of the campaign to go, Everton don’t have many more opportunities to mark their first clash with a specific top flight opponent in their new surroundings with a win.
However, they will get that chance against Man United, in what is set to be a fantastic game of football that could go a long way to deciding whether Everton have any hope of achieving a European finish this term.

Everton will be hoping they fare much better at Hill Dickinson Stadium against United than they did at Goodison Park too, as in 33 all-time Premier League games at Goodison vs the Red Devils, the Toffees won only eight times.
United claimed 19 wins, with the other six clashes ending in draws, with the Toffees’ first Goodison game against them coming in the Premier League’s inaugural 1992-93 season, with the visitors winning 2-0.
What is Man United’s away record like this season?
So, what are the chances that Everton start their new Hill Dickinson chapter against Man United with a win?
Well, the first place to look for answers there is United’s away form in the Premier League so far this season, and it does make for hopeful reading from a Toffees perspective.
Indeed, United have won just three of their 13 league games on the road in 2025-26, with six draws and three defeats to boot.
The Red Devils have a goal difference of zero from their away matches, with just 18 of their 45 points coming from their travels.
