Isaac Heath wanted by Huddersfield after recent Everton transfer call
Everton winger Isaac Heath is thriving on loan at Accrington Stanley.
Heath was Everton Under-21s’ Player of the Season in 2024-25, and he was subsequently sent out on loan to the League Two outfit to gain more experience.
The 21-year-old left winger has been phenomenal this season, registering 10 goal contributions in 28 appearances so far.
The Toffees are pleased with the way his loan spell is going, and although he has the quality to play higher, his spell at Accrington Stanley is doing wonders for his confidence.
It has now emerged that Huddersfield are interested in signing the English talent over the summer transfer window.

Isaac Heath wanted by Huddersfield and Reading
Huddersfield are currently sixth in League One, and although they occupy the final playoff spot, they still have a long way to go if they want to secure promotion to the Championship.
As reported by Alan Nixon on his Patreon, the Terriers are exploring the possibility of signing Heath at the end of the season.
Reading are also keen on the 21-year-old, and it looks as though both clubs will fight it out for the winger at the end of the season.
Everton made a call in January to ensure that Heath would continue playing at Accrington for the remainder of the campaign.
The Toffees felt that Heath’s development would improve by not jumping up any divisions mid-season, and he was ultimately happy with the decision.
| Stat | Heath |
| Appearances | 28 |
| Goals | 6 |
| Assists | 4 |
It has clearly paid off, and David Moyes will be thrilled to see one of his young players excelling away from L4.
Heath’s versatility makes him a desirable option for EFL clubs
Although Heath has sometimes featured on the right wing, he predominantly plays on the left so he can cut in on his right foot.
His last goal came in the 4-1 win over Newport County on 27 January, with his right-footed strike going past goalkeeper Jordan Wright courtesy of a deflection.
Heath has also played 11 games in his career as an attacking midfielder.
EFL Clubs have such busy schedules, and having a player who can excel in multiple roles is hugely beneficial, particularly during an injury crisis.
It’s not a shock that Heath is attracting attention from other clubs, and his future will definitely be one to keep an eye on during the summer transfer window.
