Everton could look to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap as a replacement for Beto in the upcoming transfer window.
The London outfit are considering whether they want to sell the former Ipswich Town striker after just one year at Stamford Bridge, with the Toffees keeping tabs on his situation, according to TEAMtalk.
On 22 February, the news outlet reports that the Merseyside outfit’s move for the English centre-forward may depend on the Guinea-Bissau star’s future.
David Moyes’ team were willing to sell Beto in the winter transfer window if a team matched their price tag and they found a replacement, and the situation in L4 will surely now be one to keep an eye on ahead of this summer.

Moyes wanted Delap at the Toffees last summer as they looked to begin a new era at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Scottish manager ended up getting Thierno Barry from Villarreal after the Englishman opted for a switch to Stamford Bridge over Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It can be argued that the 23-year-old made a mistake by choosing the London club over the Merseysiders, as he’s now struggling for regular game time.
Enzo Maresca has departed Fulham Road and has been replaced by Liam Rosenior, who seems to trust Joao Pedro as his first-choice number nine.
Delap has to own his mistake and take responsibility for choosing Chelsea over linking up with Moyes, but he may arguably have an opportunity to kickstart his career in L4.

Barry and Beto are currently the only two natural number nines at the Toffees, and they should be making an investment in that area in the summer.
Even if the Guinea-Bissau striker ends up staying at Everton for the 2026-27 campaign, there is no reason for The Friedkin Group not to reinforce the squad further.
Delap shouldn’t be a replacement for Beto, rather, the Chelsea striker should be viewed as a target regardless of what the future holds for the former Udinese ace.
