Steve Bruce blown away by David Moyes reveal he’s told during Everton vs Man United – ‘Wow’
David Moyes is taking charge of his 1200th game as Everton face Manchester United in the Premier League on Monday.
Hill Dickinson Stadium hosts Michael Carrick’s team on 23 February, with the Scottish manager in his 28th year as a first-team head coach.
Steve Bruce, who last managed Blackpool, was amazed by the reveal live on air as the Toffees hosted his former side.
The former Man United captain lauded the 62-year-old for the fantastic achievement and believes he offers other veteran managers hope of remaining involved in the game.

With Jake O’Brien suspended for the fixture, Moyes had a massive decision to make with his right-back for the game and decided to go with James Garner.
Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have been switching places between the left-wing and centre-forward, which is something the midfielder will need to keep an eye on.
While Nathan Patterson is on the bench, it makes sense to play the former Man United star in the backline with Tim Iroegbunam filling his vacancy in the midfield.
Jarrad Brathwaite has also started as the left-back instead of Vitalii Mykolenko, and the Toffees have been able to stop the Red Devils from having control in the game.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Jim Proudfoot said, “David Moyes celebrates his 1200th game in management tonight, which is an extraordinary record.”
Bruce responded, “Wow, what a number that is. Fair play to him. He gives us all old folks a little bit of hope, I have to say. Fantastic achievement.”
Hill Dickinson Stadium half-time change may be on cards for David Moyes
Thierno Barry has been involved more than usual against Man United, with the striker dropping deep on occasions.
The former Villarreal striker did have a fitness scare in the first half, and Moyes may look to make an immediate Everton change at the break.

Beto has made an impact in recent weeks coming off the bench, and the game could potentially be set up for him in the second half after the scrappy opening 45 minutes.
It will be interesting to see whether the Merseyside outfit can pull off another upset, as they did in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.
