Iliman Ndiaye was badly let down by Everton teammates in Man United defeat
Everton were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United on Monday evening, with the efforts of Iliman Ndiaye proving to be in vain.
Benjamin Sesko scored the only goal of the game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, finishing low into the bottom corner after a sweeping counter-attack.
The Toffees have now lost two consecutive Premier League games and haven’t won at home in the top-flight since the start of December.
David Moyes’ side sit ninth in the table after this weekend’s results, and are in danger of falling away from the European places.

Iliman Ndiaye a bright spark for Everton
Everton have often struggled to create chances this season, especially since Jack Grealish suffered a season-ending injury, and that was once again the case in the defeat to Man United.
The Toffees managed just 0.64xG across the whole 90 minutes, with very little in the way of clear-cut opportunities in front of goal.
Ndiaye did his very best to get Moyes’ side going, but was unable to drag his teammates up to his level.
According to WhoScored, the Senegal international completed eight successful dribbles on Monday.
No other Premier League player has completed more in a single game this season, but it wasn’t enough for Everton, who could not capitalise on Ndiaye’s quality.
Everton attack fail to support Iliman Ndiaye
Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Harrison Armstrong all started alongside Ndiaye in the Everton attack, but failed to link up with the creative winger.
Armstrong and Barry, in particular, struggled to get into the game, which was a big reason why the Toffees had so few chances.
Another problem for Moyes is his full-backs and their inability to support the attack.
James Garner and Jarrad Branthwaite were both out of position, at right-back and left-back respectively, and it clearly had an impact on Everton going forward.
Nidaye found himself so isolated on the right-hand side as a result, which is one of the reasons why he completed so many solo dribbles.
Moyes must find a way to address Everton’s attacking woes over the next few games to arrest their slide down the table.
