Everton and Arsenal’s men’s teams have shared a total of 11 players throughout their history.
Obvious ones include current Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and the late Kevin Campbell, who was beloved by both fanbases.
Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Francis Jeffers are other examples of players who have played for both clubs.

Richard Wright
With Everton playing the Gunners this weekend, Richard Wright’s loyalties will be tested, he joined Arsenal in the summer of 2001, and made 22 appearances for the club.
He signed for the Blues in 2002 and spent five years with the Merseyside club, playing 71 times for the Toffees, all under Moyes.
His most infamous moment with the Goodison Park side came in the 2004-05 campaign, when he conceded seven goals against the Gunners.
Philippe Senderos
Philippe Senderos spend three years with the Gunners, making 117 appearances for the North London club between 2004 and 2007.
The Swiss star made three appearances for the Toffees after signing for them on loan in January 2010, two in the Premier League and one in the Europa League, for a total of 143 minutes, for Moyes’ side.
He secured a permanent move to Fulham, where he stayed until 2014 then spent the next five years playing across Europe, most notably with Aston Villa between 2014 and 2016.
Shkodran Mustafi
In May 2009, the German defender joined the Blues from Hamburg, originally to play for the academy team.
Mustafi came on as a 76th-minute substitute for Tony Hibbert in the Europa League clash with BATE Borisov in the 2009-10 season, in his only appearance for the Toffees, which also came under Moyes.
He then moved to Sampdoria, then Valencia, before joining Arsenal in 2016, where he would spend five years, playing 151 matches for the Gunners.
The highlight of his career has to be the World Cup win with Germany in 2014, where he made three appearances, two group games as a substitute and starting the round of 16 clash with Algeria before his tournament was ended by injury.
