Richarlison reshares Everton tribute after he silences Liverpool fans in Tottenham draw

Richarlison has once again shared his love for Everton on social media after Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

The Brazilian forward scored a late equaliser for the Londoners as they came away with a vital point on 15 May, silencing the Anfield crowd at the death.

The 28-year-old was once a fan favourite on the blue half of Merseyside, and has been constantly linked with a move back to the Toffees.

Richarlison has done little to rubbish Everton rumours, and seems to revel in the idea of one day returning to the Blues.

What did Richarlison share after Tottenham draw?

After the former Everton icon secured a point for his current club, the ex-Blues star took to Instagram, sharing three posts to his story.

One was an image of him celebrating, another was from the Premier League on his achievement of scoring 100 top-flight goals, but the third will be of most interest to Evertonians.

He reshared a graphic of him in a Toffees shirt holding a blue flare with the words “on the banks of the River Blue Mersey.”

Surely that is hinting at a return to the club.

Why Richarlison has stoked the Everton fire once again

The latest share from the 54-cap international will only make Blues fans believe that a return is on the cards in the near future.

The player clearly still loves the Merseyside club, as he often posts on his socials about the club that he once called home and whose fans made him feel very special.

The supporters still absolutely adore him, and he would be welcomed with open arms, if he did return and play at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Whether it makes sense for the club is a different matter, as he has suffered from multiple injury issues in his time in North London.

He has missed a total of 74 matches for club and country since leaving L4, which would make any move a significant risk for David Moyes and the Friedkin Group.

However, he did play his best football with the Blues, and he looks likely to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer, so if the fee is right, the move could be on.

He seems to be stoking the fire with his latest antics, but whether a move materialises when the transfer market reopens remains to be seen.
