Friedkin Group may have pulled off masterclass amid Charly Alcaraz transfer latest
The Friedkin Group may well be set to pull off a transfer masterclass as Everton‘s stance on Charly Alcaraz emerges.
The Blues are reportedly willing to sell the Argentine midfielder, who they brought in permanently in the summer of 2025.
A report from Bola VIP, which was extended upon by Sports Witness of 18 March, claims that Alcaraz is considered a sellable asset heading into the summer.
His future prospects on Merseyside look bleak, as he has not been able to force his way into the side and consistently perform.
Everton could pick up a pretty penny, and that would be a very clever move from the ownership, given his struggles.

What could be a masterclass amid Alcaraz interest?
Alcaraz only signed a contract until 2027 when he joined Everton, so it seems like the club hedged their bets on whether his signing would work out.
He is understood to be on around £20,000-per-week, which works out at just over £1million-per-year, which is not much for a football club of the size of the Blues.

If his stint in blue has cost the club £15m, the initial £13m fee and £2m in wages across his contract, that is a reasonable amount of money that they should be able to recoup in a sale.
Friedkins ruthless nature could spell trouble for Alcaraz
The Friedkins have shown themselves to be savvy operators in the market, and the contract that was handed to Alcaraz proved that.
It was a little risk, a lot of reward, if the move paid off and he became a star for David Moyes’ side.
So far, that has failed to happen, with injuries taking their toll on the 23-year-old in his first permanent campaign in L4.

If the Blues can recoup anything near £15m for his services when the market reopens, it would be one of the best moves that the ownership has made since they came through the doors.
Alcaraz looks set to return to action soon, but whether he can turn around his future and convince the Blues to keep him, remains to be seen.
It looks more likely that he will become the latest casualty of the latest ruthless decision from the Friedkins and their new sporting structure.
