Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall proves Thomas Tuchel was wrong in Everton vs Chelsea
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall proved Thomas Tuchel wrong in Everton‘s 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday.
The Blues star was brilliant against his former club, which will surely leave the England manager questioning his choices.
Dewsbury-Hall was not selected for the Three Lions squad for the friendlies with Uruguay on 27 March and Japan on 31 March, and does not look like he will be at the World Cup in the summer.
He was crucial as Everton beat Chelsea to bolster their European hopes at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 21 March.

How did Dewsbury-Hall perform in Everton’s win over Chelsea
His Everton teammate James Garner was selected, but the former Chelsea ace did not join him in the squad.
He made sure that Tuchel had something to think about as the Toffees secured three points through two Beto strikes and an Iliman Ndiaye effort.
Dewsbury-Hall recorded an 80 per cent pass accuracy, misplacing just seven of his attempts to find a blue shirt, per Sofascore.
The 27-year-old took 59 touches, losing the ball 17 times, as he tried to drive his side forward, and he also recorded 13 carries.

Seven of those carries were progressive as he recorded a total progressive carrying distance of 180.8m.
Defensively, he recorded five recoveries and won eight of the 14 ground duels that he contested, showing that he is not afraid to help out when his team do not have the ball.
Why Dewsbury-Hall may still miss out on World Cup
The problem for Dewsbury-Hall is the depth of talent that he is battling with for the number 10 position in the national team for the World Cup.
The Blues man has recorded six goals and five assists, which is a solid return on a standalone basis for Moyes’ side.
However, he is fighting against Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham for the role, and it seems like he faces an uphill battle to change Tuchel’s mind.
| Player | Goals | Assists |
| Dewsbury-Hall | 6 | 5 |
| Rogers | 10 | 7 |
| Palmer | 10 | 3 |
| Bellingham | 6 | 4 |
Rogers has 10 goals and seven assists in all competitions for Aston Villa, while Palmer has notched 10 goals and three assists for Liam Rosenior’s side.
Bellingham has six goals and four assists in an injury-hit campaign for Real Madrid over in Spain, but he is probably one of the first names in the squad, due to his reputation and big game ability.
He may have proven Tuchel’s call wrong in the win over Chelsea, but it may not be enough to change the manager’s mind for the tournament.
