Charly Alcaraz ‘well and truly done at Everton’ after Gustavo Hamer latest
Charly Alcaraz’s Everton career could be finished after links to Gustavo Hamer emerged.
Alcaraz was signed last summer after an impressive loan spell, but he has failed to have a similar impact this season.
Turkish outlet Kuzey Ekspres claimed on 25 March that the Blues were one of the teams interested in the Sheffield United ace.
If Hamer arrives on Merseyside in the summer transfer window, Alcaraz’s Everton career will be well and truly done.

Why might Alcaraz be finished at Everton?
Everton are reportedly willing to sell Alcaraz, if the right offer comes in for his services, after his lacklustre showings in this campaign.
He has played just 18 times, with one goal and one assist in those matches, which is simply not good enough.
The Argentine maestro is contracted until 2027, but he has not featured for seven games, with a knock keeping him out of the last five.

He may not get another opportunity this season, due to the form of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and if the Blues sign Hamer, the 11 minutes he played against Brighton in January may end up being his last game for the Toffees.
How do Alcaraz and Hamer compare?
Alcaraz has made just 16 appearances in the Premier League this season, with six of those coming in the starting line-up.
He has averaged 1.1 shots per game, with 0.3 of those being on target and 0.6 key passes, per Sofascore, suggesting that his influence is limited.
The 23-year-old has created two big chances, completes 46 per cent of his dribbles, and loses possession on 6.4 occasions per game.
Meanwhile, Hamer has made 30 appearances, with 21 of those matches coming in the starting line-up for the Blades.
| How Alcaraz and Hamer compare (league) | Alcaraz | Hamer |
| Matches | 16 | 30 |
| Started | 6 | 21 |
| Goals | 0 | 2 |
| Assists | 1 | 10 |
| Shots per game (on target) | 1.1 (0.3) | 1.8 (0.5) |
| Key passes per game | 0.6 | 1.7 |
| Dribble completion | 46% | 51% |
| Lost possession | 6.4 | 13 |
| Minutes played | 673 | 1,968 |
He has averaged 1.8 shots per game, with 0.5 being on target and 1.7 key passes, much better than the current Blues star.
The Brazil-born Dutch national has created 14 big chances, completes 51 per cent of his dribbles, and loses possession 13 times per game.
Perhaps the most important stat, though, is that Hamer has recorded 10 assists, compared to the two that David Moyes’ side have had from their man.
It seems like a no brainer to make the move, as he looks like a significant upgrade on the ex-Southampton player.
