David Moyes looks set to extend Everton stay

Moyes has done a sensational job since rejoining the club last term, with his side now looking at a potential European finish come May.

After spending a large portion of recent seasons fighting at the wrong end of the Premier League standings, the current campaign is a more than welcome one – with Moyes having fully galvanised the club.

Reacting to the news of a new contract, first reported by The Guardian, Parry post on X: “Terrific news.

“Owners who recognise a great manager when they’ve got one in front of them..”

After a turbulent decade thus far with multiple managers coming and going, the Toffees finally seem ready to settle down with Moyes.

This itself looks to paying dividends, with the Blues on for European football for the first time since 2017.

Everton recruitment will be strengthened by European football

Everton are one of the biggest footballing institutions in the country, while the state-of-the-art new stadium has brought about a completely new vibe around the club.

The missing piece of the puzzle is continental football, which will not just provide the Toffees with financial breathing room, but it will also prove the key to attracting an entirely different level of player to the club.

As of now, Everton are good value to qualify for European football, with the Conference League the least of their aims.

As proven throughout his recent spell with West Ham, the Toffees boss is an expert at constructing a side ready to take on those at the top end of the standings.

If he were to be adequately backed over the summer, the continued development of Everton could take place at a much faster pace than initially imagined.
