Everton could seriously benefit as Watford set £12m Imran Louza price tag
Everton could now have the perfect chance to bring in Imran Louza from Watford.
The Morocco international has been linked with a Merseyside switch in the past, but a move didn’t happen in the end.
David Moyes instead brought Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Charly Alcaraz and Merlin Rohl to Hill Dickinson Stadium to bolster his midfield options.
Those additions may not be enough to halt the Toffees from adding further faces when the summer transfer window opens.
Louza could be a top signing for Everton, and they may have the perfect opportunity to bring the Watford star to L3.

Watford set £12m valuation for Imran Louza exit
The 26-year-old signed for the Hornets in 2021 and has gone on to be a regular under various managers, outside of a loan to Lorient.
This season has been arguably his best at Vicarage Road, with 20 goal involvements looking like a possible tally before the season ends.
| Season | Appearances | Goal involvements |
| 2025-26 | 39 | 17 |
| 2024-25 | 37 | 7 |
| 2023-24 | 17 | 4 |
| 2022-23 | 21 | 9 |
| 2021-22 | 22 | 0 |
That has piqued interest in his signature, especially given his side’s current 10th-place position in the Championship with five games to go.
French outlet Foot Mercato reported on Thursday that Louza has already been sounded out by two Premier League clubs.
The midfielder is said to be happy at Watford, but is also keeping tabs on a potential move after being valued at £12million in Hertfordshire.
Louza could soon be on his way to Everton, and now the Blues have the perfect opportunity to push through a deal when the transfer window opens.
Everton could seriously benefit from Louza signing
The Blues are genuinely confident about securing European qualification this season.
If they are to achieve that goal, they need to build a squad ready to play two games per week throughout the season in multiple competitions.
That will require plenty of new signings that don’t break the bank and at £12m, Louza would certainly fit the bill on Merseyside.

His goal and assist output is superb, and it would certainly be interesting to see him back in the Premier League after five seasons away.
The Moroccan would prove to be a shrewd piece of business, and if he is open to a move away from Watford, there is little reason not to make a move.
