Everton unseen moments vs Brentford: James Tarkowski booed, Idrissa Gueye annoys David Moyes
Everton and Brentford played out a 2-2 stalemate on Saturday, and there were quite a few moments fans not at the game would have missed.
The Toffees looked set to be heading towards a brutal blow in their European aspirations, with the Bees 2-1 up with just three minutes of added time to go.
However, summer signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall would be the hero, scoring an equaliser in the final moments of the game.
It was quite the entertaining match overall, with plenty to see across the pitch.
However, there were also plenty of incidents not evident to supporters. Here are three unseen moments from Everton’s draw versus Brentford.

James Tarkowski booed by Brentford fans
James Tarkowski returned to face former club Brentford, and relations since his departure in 2016 have not improved.
As the Toffees teamsheet was read out on the intercom before kick-off, Liverpool Echo reporter Joe Thomas posted via X that the centre-back was booed by the home support.

The Englishman had quite the battle up against him, with Igor Thiago in fine form for the Bees.
Tarkowski tried to deal with the threat from the Brazilian, but the striker managed to nip ahead of him for Brentford’s second of the game, as Michael Kayode’s effort deflected in off him.
Idrissa Gueye leaves David Moyes with head in his hands
Idrissa Gueye was lively against the Bees, putting in his ferocious tackles constantly and setting the tempo of the midfield battle.
However, one early first-half moment did leave David Moyes with his head in his hands.
As spotted by journalist Thomas, a poorly weighted pass by the Senegal international for Vitalii Mykolenko was a moment of frustration, with the ball going too far ahead of him.
“Moyes with his head in his hands as Gueye plays a ball too far in front of Mykolenko,” Thomas tweeted.
The Scotsman would not have been too worried about the rest of Gueye’s performance, as he picked up the assist for Beto’s equalising goal.
Jordan Pickford gets last laugh vs Brentford fans
Pickford did not cover himself in much glory against Brentford as he gave away the penalty for the opening goal.
Overall, he will come out of the game thinking he could have done much better throughout the 90 minutes. The home fans were also frustrated as the Bees struggled to score.
But after Thiago’s second of the game, their frustrations were eased, and the home end began giving the Everton number one plenty of stick behind the goal.

In the end, it was ultimately the Everton fans and Pickford who got the last laugh as Dewsbury-Hall saved a crucial point for Moyes’ side.
The away end erupted into chants for the midfielder, with the race for Europe still wide open.
