Everton leave Michael Keane with no choice as Federico Gatti deal on cards
Everton are yet to offer Michael Keane a new contract to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The English centre-back was dropped to the bench as the Toffees secured a point in West London against Brentford on 11 April.
Keane was an unused substitute for David Moyes at the Gtech Community Stadium, clearly highlighting his place in the Blues' pecking order.
Calicomercato.it reported on 9 April that Juventus centre-back Federico Gatti is now a target at Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of the upcoming transfer window, which may leave the former Burnley defender with no choice but to leave the Merseyside outfit in the summer for regular opportunities.
Keane's future under Moyes seems uncertain as the Scottish manager looks to strengthen his squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

Despite Keane's brilliant displays this season, there has been no indication of a contract extension for the veteran centre-back.
Instead, there have been several reports of the Toffees possibly looking to reinforce their defence in the summer.

Even if the Englishman is handed a new deal, if the Blues aim to sign a new defender, the ex-Manchester United ace may not want to continue at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
There's still plenty Keane can offer at the Merseyside outfit or any other Premier League team, but with James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite preferred over him, it remains to be seen how his situation unfolds in L3.

Tony Bellew understood Keane's influence at Everton early on in the season after he formed a brilliant partnership with Tarkowski during Branthwaite's absence.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 17 November, the ex-WBC cruiserweight champion said, "Keane has also been absolutely fantastic this season. Everyone's missing that point; no one is picking it up. He has been unbelievable. He's scored goals, he's defended, everything from him so far this season has been brilliant."
The centre-back has done more than enough for fresh terms at the Blues, but he could potentially have other plans for his future after struggling for minutes recently.
