Everton to use positive Udinese relationship for £34m Arthur Atta deal
Everton have expressed an interest in Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
According to Tuttosport on 13 April, the Serie A side are ready to cash in on the Frenchman in the summer for around £34million.
The news outlet reports that the Toffees have a positive relationship with the Italian club, having signed Beto from them in 2023, which could potentially be helpful to bring the 23-year-old to Hill Dickinson Stadium.
At the end of the season, Udinese will look to capitalise on the reputation Atta has amassed across Europe, possibly expecting multiple bids for him.
The Friedkin Group must back David Moyes ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, especially if they qualify for any European competition, and improving squad depth should be top of the Merseyside outfit’s agenda.

David Moyes has other transfer priorities at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Moyes is dreaming of European qualification at Everton and competing in a competition like the Europa League will surely require a significant investment from TFG.
The Scottish manager clearly needs defensive reinforcements first and foremost, with Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson and Adam Aznou failing to get into the starting lineup.
Apart from new full-backs, the Blues should also sign a third striker to compete with Beto and Thierno Barry.
As things stand, the Merseyside outfit’s midfield boasts impressive talent and there are arguably other areas that need reinforcement before the engine room is strengthened.
