Everton vs Liverpool: How to watch, TV channel and kick-off time for Merseyside derby

Everton are back in action in the Premier League on Sunday, as Liverpool make the short trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time.

The Toffees picked up a point against European rivals Brentford last time out, with goals from Beto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall cancelling out a brace from Igor Thiago.

David Moyes‘ side sit eighth in the standings, after what has been a fantastic campaign thus far, while continental football remains firmly in their sights.

It has been a dismal year for rivals Liverpool, having seen their final chances of silverware go up in flames on Tuesday, with Paris Saint-Germain dumping Arne Slot’s men out of the Champions League.

They travel to Everton licking their wounds, against a Blues side who will be fired up to make a statement in the first derby at the new stomping ground.

How to watch Everton vs Liverpool

After losing 2-1 at Anfield earlier this season, the Toffees will be looking to not only avenge that result, but make a big statement against their struggling rivals.

Last time out on home soil, Moyes’ side finally ended their run without successive wins at Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the aim will be to make this three in a row on Sunday.

Everton will sniff blood as they face wounded Liverpool

Much like a result in the final derby at Goodison Park feeling inevitable, the same can once again be said heading into the weekend.

From a Toffees perspective, the stars have aligned for them to take victory this weekend, with the respective form of the two Merseyside rivals in mind.

It has been a dismal year for Liverpool, who find themselves in a race for Champions League football less than a year on following their title win.

Despite major investment last summer, Slot’s side have proven incredibly vulnerable, while they will be licking their wounds following their midweek loss.

Everton are in fine form and are well-placed to go on and secure European football for the first time in almost a decade.

And as they welcome the Reds to their new stomping ground for the first time, Moyes’ men will have their sights set on a statement result against the neighbours.
