Everton are still tracking Inter Milan star Luis Henrique, a year on after missing out on his signature.

The Brazilian has been enjoying a successful campaign in the Serie A so far, with the Nerazurri currently top of the league table and needing just one more win to secure the title.

Everton, on the other hand, have taken a tumble in their pursuit of European football, with back-to-back losses.

Although Henrique has spent a large portion of his career out on the left wing, this season for Inter, he has been solely used in a wing-back role.

The Brazilian either starts in place of Federico Di Marco or Denzel Dumfries or is brought on for them off the bench.

If Moyes has been impressed by the Inter star’s performances this season, then he may look to use the 24-year-old in a similar way in his setup.

At Everton, Jake O’Brien is often used on the right of defence but lacks the attacking threat that a player such as Henrique would offer.

Interest in the Brazilian could signal a braver approach from the Scotsman ahead of next season, as on paper he looks to be a misfit for Everton’s current style.

Henrique is capable of playing in numerous positions across the pitch, and that will no doubt be another reason Moyes will be interested.

As well as being a winger and primarily a right wing-back this season, as stated before, he can be deployed on the left as well.

That level of versatility offers the Everton manager plenty of solutions in games, especially if the Blues are struggling to break down a defence.
