David Moyes may have already indirectly confirmed whether Tyrique George will sign for Everton
David Moyes has provided a clear hint into the future of Tyrique George with his continued snub at Everton.
In light of Jack Grealish‘s season-ending injury, the Toffees needed to replace him in the winter transfer window, and with the arrival of George, many thought they had.
The winger arrived with a big reputation from his time with Chelsea, and a playstyle that was sure to get Everton supporters off their seats.
As of now, that loan move has yet to pay off, with the teen limited to very few minutes in the Premier League.
And while Everton have the option to sign George permanently this summer, it seems almost certain that they won’t.

Everton set to opt against Tyrique George transfer
And it would make a lot of sense.
Despite having had a fairly productive first half of the campaign at Chelsea, his move to Hill Dickinson just has not worked, as showcased by the fact that he has made just eight appearances.

George has started just once for the Toffees in the Premier League, and that was in a 2-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth back in February, where he failed to take his chance.
Since then, he has made six appearances, with five of them having seen him play 16 minutes or less towards the back end of a game.

Moyes is clearly not a fan of him, and his lack of minutes speaks volumes about where his future lies.
George’s replacement may already be lined up
Everton have already been linked with several other left-wing options, including Denis Bouanga and Grealish.
The latter may cost a pretty penny, though all parties are keen on a deal, while Bouanga would be somewhat of a wildcard transfer given his age and goalscoring record over the last few years.
It’s clear that bolstering that area of the squad is a necessity for Everton, who have seemingly already started to work on identifying their targets.
